About these terms
These terms are the agreement between you and Plan.business Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (number 17516989), whose registered office is at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, United Kingdom, WC2H 9JQ ("we", "us") when you use Plan at plan.business. By using Plan you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we use your data.
Plan
Plan helps people starting or newly running a business in the UK to plan it: your pitch and brand, a brand kit, a plan with its numbers, and the next things to do. It's free to use. If we ever charge for something, we'll tell you the price before you pay, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
Your account
- You sign in with your UK mobile number, by a code we text you. Keep your phone secure: anyone who can read your texts could sign in as you.
- You must be 18 or over.
- Give us true details, and keep your email up to date if you want us to send you things.
What Plan makes for you
Much of what Plan makes is drafted by AI from what you tell it: wording, your brand kit's writing and images, and suggestions. AI can be wrong.
- Check it before you rely on it. Plan's figures are estimates from what you enter. They're not financial, legal, tax or accounting advice. Speak to a qualified adviser before making decisions that depend on them.
- Brand names and logos: we don't check whether a name or logo is already used, or registered as a trade mark. Check that before you use one, for example on the UK Intellectual Property Office's register.
- Where we quote official figures (tax rates and thresholds, for example), we check them against the official source and show when we did. They can change.
Your content
What you write, and what Plan makes from it for you, is yours. You give us permission to store and use it to run Plan for you, including sending it to the services described in our privacy policy. Where Plan makes images or logos with AI, we pass on to you whatever rights the AI services give us in them. Work made by AI may not be protected by copyright in the same way as work made by a person, and can resemble existing work, so check before you rely on it.
Using Plan fairly
Don't misuse Plan: no attempting to break into it or overload it, no automated use or copying it at scale, nothing unlawful, and nothing that infringes anyone else's rights.
Partners
Plan links to services from other companies (our partners, and The Fractions, our sister company). They're separate businesses with their own terms. We may be paid when you use them; where we are, we say so.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Plan running and your data safe, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop parts of Plan; if we stop Plan altogether, we'll give you notice and a way to download your data first.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, as Plan is free, we're not responsible for business losses (lost profit, revenue or opportunity) from using it, or from relying on what it makes without checking it. Your rights as a consumer aren't affected.
Ending
You can stop using Plan at any time, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we'll update the date at the top, and tell you about important changes before they apply.
The law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.
